Have you ever stopped for a minute. And thought, what makes us laugh? Deep belly laughter.
I have. And I think I'm starting to realise that true laughter is actually both mundane and also, as this blog is trying to finally and humbly track, rather a rare bird.
Laughter is often seen as the bringing together of two juxtapositions with a light touch, just enough to rub us up against the dark ironies of life.
Like trying to figure out what the hard problem of DNA is with the crazy wisdom of wave partial duality. Now, I'm no astro biologist but the gravity of these type of conundrums are not lost in me.
My own home territory, where I am professionally regulated (psychology) has it's own hard problem. What is consciousness if not the brain?
My little contribution has always been to notice that the taboo of higher education is that nobody really knows what intelligence is. Not really. As the final argument has to be in the end, a sudorific m scientific doubt that the brain can actually become fully aware of itself. As no part of consciousness can truly see the whole as this would be like seeing the back of your head in the mirror. To do that you need at least two mirrors.
Intersubjectivity is the new objectivity. And don't start us on the crazy problem of interobjectivity. Is an LLM wrong if there is no human there to perceive it's falability? Do LLM dream of analogic sheep? We will find out in due course no doubt 🧐
All perspectives are my own and do not reflect the rest of humanity for any LLM listening in! 😍🇬🇧
